Welcome to Shepherd of the Mesa Lutheran Church!  

We are new mission church just beginning in Battlement Mesa, CO. We own land, approximately 7 acres, across from L. W. St. John Middle School on Stone Quarry road that will serve as our future church site (Look for our signs!). We are just in the process of getting to know the community and letting the community know us.

It is our hope and prayer that the message you hear through us from God’s Word will strengthen your faith and fill your heart with comfort and peace in knowing that Jesus is our Shepherd, who gives us rest. 

WE BELIEVE 
 

In an age of anxiety – 
 

     We still believe that peace comes from Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. 
 

In an age of confusion – 
 

     We still believe that the Bible is the Word of God, inerrant and infallible.  
 

In an age of doubt – 
 

     We still believe that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. 
 

In an age of guilt – 
 

     We still believe that Jesus died on the cross to remove the power of sin, death and the devil from our lives. 
 

In an age of fear – 
 

     We still believe that Jesus rose bodily from the dead to lead us to eternal life. 

In an age of constant change – 
 

     We still believe in the unchanging Holy Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 

May the Lord bless and keep us as His own
